  • Overview

    The Portfolio Management Analyst will support the Portfolio Management team in delivering reporting on portfolio monitoring and performance used to develop portfolio management initiatives and drive investment strategy. 

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Lead the collection, validation and tracking of detailed quarterly portfolio metrics around valuations, operations and performance of $7 billion commercial real estate portfolio
    • Assist in the preparation and review of investment reporting on portfolio for dissemination to management team, board, consultants, investors, and prospective investors
    • Develop new portfolio monitoring and risk management reporting tools and frameworks
    • Present reports to senior portfolio team and assist in the development of overall portfolio strategies and tactics designed to enhance performance
    • Collect, analyze and interpret portfolio data to prepare return attribution analyses
    • Assist in the composition of investor marketing materials, market research white papers and other firm publications
    • Collaborate with IT and Accounting to implement enhanced portfolio reporting infrastructure  
    • Interpret and respond to ad-hoc client requests in a timely manner
    • Develop deep understanding of industry performance standards
    • Assist in the creation of models used to simulate return scenarios
    • During first four-five months of employment, provide support to the Client Services team to assist in the completion of RFPs, by developing a working knowledge the firm’s RFP response tool

    • Plus: Familiarity with real estate and finance concepts
    • Plus: Accounting coursework

     

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 1-3 years of work experience in Real Estate Investment Management, banking or consulting is preferred

     

    EDUCATION / LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Accounting or related field
    • CFA preferred
